Description
Payroll Team Lead
- Lead end-to-end UK & Ireland payroll operations.
- Ensure payroll compliance, governance, and audit readiness.
- Manage payroll providers, benefits administration, and key stakeholder relationships.
- Coach and develop payroll team capability.
- Deliver payroll reporting, analytics, and business insights.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.
- Support an exceptional employee experience through accurate, efficient payroll delivery.
Profile
Successful Payroll Team Lead
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end UK payroll.
- Exposure to Republic of Ireland payroll (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, pensions, statutory payments, and payroll taxation.
- Experience managing outsourced payroll providers.
- Experience with payroll controls, audits, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience coaching or leading payroll team members.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems.
