A leading manufacturing company based in East Lancashire is looking to appoint an Internal Sales Administration Team Leader to lead its Internal Technical Sales Administration function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced team leader with a strong technical mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales performance.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for producing accurate, comprehensive, and tailored quotations, helping to convert customer enquiries into confirmed orders. You will ensure customers receive detailed information on products, bills of materials, and quotation specifications, delivering a high-quality service throughout the sales process.
You will oversee a well-established and motivated team of six, providing day-to-day leadership through effective workflow management, prioritisation of workloads, and performance management. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will monitor KPIs, provide regular performance feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to further develop both the team and the function.
To be successful, you will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication and organisational skills, and previous experience leading a customer-focused sales administration or technical sales support team. A technical aptitude, combined with the ability to build strong customer relationships and motivate others, will be essential.
