Job Opportunity: Year 5 Teacher

One of our primary schools located in Acocks Green is currently looking for a dedicated year 5 teacher that will work full time from September 2026 until Christmas. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain more experience in the classroom. The successful candidate will already possess a QTS and will ideally have prior experience in a year 5 classroom.
Key responsibilities of a Year 5 Teacher include:
- Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
- Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum and tailored to the needs of year 5 pupils
- Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
- Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A great relevant understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
- Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
