We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team, providing high-quality craftsmanship and customer-oriented service delivery to both internal and external customers. This role involves maintenance, repairs, and construction projects across various sites.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Carry out all aspects of plumbing work including maintenance, repairs, and installation on various projects.
- Install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers, and wash basins.
- Renew external gutters, fall pipes, soil stacks, and repair external water services and stop cocks.
- Liaise with other employees of various trades, tenants, managers, caretakers, etc.
- Work at heights using the necessary safety equipment and maintain vehicle stock levels to ensure service efficiency.
- Submit all worksheets and documents related to the job within the required timescales.
- Carry out Driver/Labourer duties as and when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing; NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards gaining this qualification.
- Experience in regular domestic plumbing work.
- Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Commitment to health and safety, equality, and diversity policies.
