We are currently recruiting for a Sales Negotiator position, for our Estate Agency client based in Chelmsford.
The successful candidate must have at least 2 years experience as a Sales Negotiator.
Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area.
You must hold a full UK driving licence with the use of your own car.
Salary and benefits package for the role of Sales Negotiator:
- Basic £25,000
- OTE £40,000
- Uncapped commission
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm, Saturdays 9am – 4pm (1 Saturday off per month, with day back in lieu)

Responsibilities for the role of Sales Negotiator:
- Match buyers with the right homes based on their needs and aspirations
- Handle inbound enquiries via phone and email
- Proactively call out new instructions to prospective buyers
- Book and conduct viewings, delivering engaging property tours
- Guide clients through the sales process from offer to completion
- Act as a trusted advisor to both sellers and buyers, supporting them through every stage of the sale
- Keep sellers updated on viewings, feedback, and market conditions to secure sales quickly and at the right price
- Handle queries and concerns with professionalism, always aiming for a smooth, stress-free experience
- Help market properties through online portals, social media, and our in-house platforms
- Monitor and report on property performance, adjusting strategy as needed to attract buyers
- Negotiate offers and terms to achieve the best outcome for all parties
- Handle objections, clarify queries, and work towards mutually beneficial agreements
- Keep sellers informed at every step to ensure transparency and confidence
- Keep all systems and records up to date, including applicant details and sales progression notes
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company standards
- Liaise with the sales progression and property management teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
Key Skills for the role of Sales Negotiator:
- At least 2 years experience as a Sales Negotiator
- Ideally local knowledge of Chelmsford/Essex
- Confident communicator, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation, sales, and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage a busy schedule
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car
