BTG Recruitment
Management Accountant
Grantham area
£38,000 to £42,000 + study support
We are working with a growing specialist service and supply business near Grantham that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant.
This role would suit a part-qualified accountant who has already gained solid management accounts experience and is ready to take on more responsibility. The business is expanding quickly, so it offers a strong opportunity for someone who wants to develop in a hands-on role with exposure to operational finance and stock control.
You produice the monthly management accounts, including P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow, journals, accruals, prepayments and VAT return work. You will also be involved in stock control, helping to improve stock processes and supporting stock takes across different locations.
This is not an entry-level role, so you will need to be confident with month-end work and able to take ownership of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience assisting with or producing management accounts
- Good month-end experience, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
- Some stock, inventory or operational finance exposure
- CIMA or ACCA studies, or a desire to continue studying
- Experience in a stock-based business such as manufacturing, distribution, logistics, automotive, engineering or supply chain would be useful
- A proactive and organised approach
This is a strong development opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to step into a broader Management Accountant role within a growing business.
