WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing company in the audio-visual industry for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered to support a wide range of exciting projects.
The Role
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.
- Preparing, testing and quality-checking equipment for upcoming projects.
- Using rental management software to track jobs and ensure equipment is correctly allocated.
- Reviewing job sheets and raising any concerns with the relevant Project Manager or Warehouse Manager.
- Ensuring equipment is clean, fully operational and correctly labelled before dispatch.
- Processing returned equipment by scanning, testing and returning items to the correct storage locations.
- Reporting missing or faulty equipment and arranging repairs where required.
- Supporting the preparation and system testing of rental equipment.
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and coordinating warehouse logistics.
- Maintaining clear communication between the warehouse, workshop and administration teams.
- Helping organise equipment servicing and client-owned equipment returns.

We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised, reliable and able to work to a high level of accuracy.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Proactive with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively.
- Interested in audio-visual technology (previous AV experience is advantageous but not essential).
- Physically fit and capable of safely handling warehouse equipment.
