Macildowie Recruitment and Retention
Executive Assistant (3–6 Month Contract)
Confidential Opportunity | Predominantly Remote
We are working on behalf of a confidential client to appoint an experienced Executive Assistant for an initial 3–6 month contract.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing organisation during a significant period of strategic change. You'll become a trusted partner to a small group of senior executives, providing first-class executive support while helping to coordinate a number of business-critical initiatives.
This role is predominantly remote, although there will be an expectation to attend the office 1–2 days per week as required.
The Role
This is far more than a traditional Executive Assistant position. You'll be instrumental in keeping multiple workstreams moving, managing complex priorities and ensuring senior leaders have the support they need during a fast-paced and confidential programme of work.
You'll naturally bring structure, organisation and calm to an evolving environment, acting as the central point of coordination across several senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing seamless executive support to a small group of senior leaders.
- Managing project plans, meetings and changing priorities.
- Coordinating confidential documentation, meetings and communications.
- Preparing reports, presentations and meeting papers.
- Tracking actions and ensuring deliverables remain on schedule.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
- Anticipating challenges and proactively identifying solutions.
- Acting as a trusted partner throughout a period of significant organisational change.
About You
We're looking for a proven Executive Assistant who thrives in fast-paced, commercially driven environments and is comfortable working with sensitive and highly confidential information.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders.
- Previous experience supporting business transformation, corporate transactions, private equity-backed organisations or other strategic programmes would be highly advantageous.
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the confidence to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong commercial awareness and outstanding attention to detail.
- Absolute discretion, professionalism and integrity.
The Details
- Initial 3–6 month contract.
- Predominantly remote with occasional office attendance (typically 1–2 days per week).
- Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
Due to the confidential nature of this appointment, further information will be shared with shortlisted candidates following an initial conversation.
