Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Kent
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their growing team covering Kent and the wider South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor with at least two years' experience looking to join a respected consultancy offering strong earning potential, varied project work, and genuine long-term career progression. The role will involve covering London, Kent, Essex, Enfield, and surrounding areas, making it ideally suited to someone based in Kent.
Working across commercial, domestic, healthcare, education, and public sector sites, you'll benefit from a structured workload and the opportunity to work with an established client base.
THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of asbestos surveys across a varied portfolio of properties throughout the South East.
Working independently and as part of a supportive team, you will deliver high-quality asbestos surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry guidance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys * Surveying commercial, domestic, healthcare, education, and public sector properties * Collecting bulk asbestos samples * Producing accurate asbestos survey reports in accordance with HSG264 guidance * Managing your own workload and daily schedule effectively * Ensuring compliance with HSE guidance and asbestos legislation * Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and delivering a professional service
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* BOHS P402 qualification (essential) * Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Asbestos Surveyor * Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation * Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred * Full UK driving licence * Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
WHAT'S ON OFFER
