We are currently partnering with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a Human Resources Officer to join their busy HR team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to extend)
This is an immediate opportunity and requires someone who has previous experience within an HR generalist position. You will be working across the full employee lifecycle within the education sector (previous education sector experience preferrable)
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing recruitment, onboarding and employee records
- Advising managers on employee relations, performance and attendance matters
- Supporting payroll administration and HR systems
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements
- Coordinating training, probation and appraisal processes
- Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures
About you:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards)
- At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
- Able to work independently while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality
- Previous experience dealing with employee relations from start to finish
On offer:
- This is an office based role so please only apply if you can work full time Monday – Friday in an office based role
- Salary £38k – £42k
- 12 month FTC (with possibility of extension)
