Recruit4staff are representing a commercial vehicle repair specialist in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Radcliffe
Job Details:
- Pay: Up to £16.25 per hour
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: Flexible start times by prior arrangement, standard pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Cycle to work scheme, Health & wellbeing programme
Job Role: As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing elements of trailer bodies, including side raves, corner posts, back doors and roof skins. The Fabricator Welder will fabricate steel components, work from engineering drawings and complete welding duties using MIG and MMA welding techniques.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience fabricating steel components
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- MIG welding and MMA welding experience
- The successful Fabricator Welder will have a strong practical fabrication background
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- City & Guilds in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent mechanical engineering trade qualification
- Previously coded in MIG welding
- Proven experience working on trailer bodies, HGVs or vehicles
- Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder within commercial vehicle repairs would be advantageous
