Telesales Executive – Outbound Sales Role

£30-42k + Bonus (OTE £40-45k)

Our fast-expanding manufacturing client in Burntwood, Staffordshire, is seeking a driven Telesales Executive to proactively engage with a varied customer base, generate new leads, and contribute directly to revenue growth.
About the Role
This full-time, permanent, office-based position focuses heavily on outbound telephone sales activities. You will target lapsed or pre-existing clients to generate new leads, revive sales opportunities, and manage existing accounts to drive business development.
What You’ll Do
- Manage an active portfolio of repeat customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Use CRM tools to understand customer needs, provide tailored product advice, and prepare accurate quotations.
- Conduct a high volume of proactive outbound calls to identify and qualify new sales opportunities, especially focusing on lapsed or pre-existing clients.
- Present product solutions effectively and close sales over the phone.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound enquiries.
- Re-engage previous customers through targeted outbound calling campaigns to revive sales prospects.
- Keep customer records up to date and participate in regular sales meetings and product training sessions.
Key Duties
- Maintain and grow customer relationships with consistent communication and excellent service.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
- Prepare and issue quotes accurately, ensuring CRM data integrity.
- Generate new leads and sales through strategic and persistent outbound calling, demonstrating strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to stay informed about product developments.
- Provide sales insights and forecasts during monthly meetings.
- Engage in ongoing product training to enhance expertise.
About You
- Proven experience in telesales or sales roles, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and influence clients over the phone.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Confident and motivated in making a high volume of outbound calls, skilled at engaging prospects, overcoming objections, and closing sales remotely.
- Self-motivated, positive, and eager to develop professionally.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
