FP&A Senior Analyst
- Annual Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
- Location: Chester City Centre – Hybrid Approach (2 days in office)
- Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract – 12 months
We are seeking a commercially minded FP&A Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving insight, performance, and strategic decision-making within our client’s multi-site business. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, this role is central to financial planning and analysis, shaping budgets, interrogating performance, and delivering impactful reporting across the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Partner with the FP&A team to deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting that supports informed decision-making across the business.
- Build and maintain robust budgets and forecasts for both leased & tenanted (L&T) and managed operations.
- Deliver clear, insightful variance analysis — identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop, enhance, and maintain KPI reporting frameworks.
- Support strategic and operational projects as directed by the Head of FP&A.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems, and financial controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and at pace to tight deadlines.
- Strong communicator who can confidently present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven experience in a multi-site environment is essential.
