Job Title: Chef / Hospitality Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across Birmingham and surrounding areas
Salary: £31,600 – £34,300 – salary dependent on qualifications

Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Level 3 Teaching qualification.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a Level 2 Hospitality / Pro Cookery qualification, or above.
- Must have worked at Commis Chef level.
- Must have experience of fresh food preparation.
- Experience of managing BOH staff, ideally up to Head Chef/Kitchen Manager level.
- Must have experience of working Front of House, with demonstrable progression from Team Member, through to Supervisor, through to General Manager.
- Must be IT literate.
- Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
- Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality (Front and Back of House specialisms).
- Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/face-to-face delivery).
- Delivering Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
