A long-established and reputable law firm in the Reading area is seeking a skilled Conveyancing Solicitor to join its expanding Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer looking to take the next step in their career within a friendly, well-structured and growing department.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New-build transactions
• Help to Buy and shared ownership
• Title checks and reporting
• Liaising with lenders, agents and third parties
You will benefit from strong administrative support, modern case-management systems, and an established pipeline of steady, high-quality work.
Requirements
• Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer – NQ up to 6 years’ PQE considered
• Solid experience handling your own caseload of residential property matters
• Strong client-care skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
• Confident communicator able to maintain and develop client relationships
• Experience with new-builds is desirable but not essential
