Cover Supervisor – Crawley

Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people's education? Engage Education is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a range of welcoming secondary schools across Cover Supervisor.
This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, experienced Cover Supervisors, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
Your role will include:
- Supervising classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
- Creating a positive and productive learning environment.
- Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
What we're looking for:
Confidence managing groups of secondary-aged students.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A positive, professional, and adaptable approach.
Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
The right to work in the UK.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or you must be willing to process one through Engage Education at a cost of £54.70.
