Client Details
Our client is based in Winchester, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.
Description
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure against budgets.
- Respond to financial queries and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £33,000 per annum.
- Permanent, full-time position based in Winchester.
