Service Manager – Adult Social Care
Location: Crawley
Salary: £60,000 + Benefits
An established and values-led care provider is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop a specialist adult social care service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care, drive service performance, and support a dedicated team to achieve outstanding outcomes for the people they support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the service and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Lead, motivate and develop care teams, including recruitment, performance management and staff development.
- Drive continuous improvement, maintaining excellent standards of care and service delivery.
- Manage budgets, resources and KPIs effectively to ensure operational success.
- Build positive relationships with commissioners, regulatory bodies, families and other stakeholders.
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and best practice standards are consistently maintained.
About You
- Hold a relevant Nursing or Social Care qualification.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience managing or supervising within a care setting.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Sound understanding of CQC/regulatory requirements, safeguarding and employment practices.
- Confident managing budgets, performance metrics and service improvement initiatives.
