Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching, educational psychology or youth work?
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning in secondary schools across Islington.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience before teacher training or further study.
Responsibilities
- Support students during lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
- Assist students with additional learning needs.
- Help teachers prepare classroom resources.
- Encourage student confidence, engagement and academic progress.
- Support behaviour management within the classroom.
We're Looking For
- A degree in any subject.
- A genuine passion for education.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire young people.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
