Year 3 Class Teacher
Location: St. Albans, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS1 – MPS6 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Plan and deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum to meet the needs of all learners
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within primary education, ideally in Key Stage 2
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every child
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a positive approach to teaching and learning
