A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a PPA Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September. You'll teach across EYFS to Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality pre-planned lessons and supporting pupils' progress while class teachers receive their planning, preparation and assessment time.
This role is particularly well suited to ECTs, with the school offering excellent support, experienced mentors and a collaborative environment to help you develop your confidence and teaching practice.
The Role
As a PPA Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS to KS2 using existing planning * Provide continuity of learning during teachers' PPA time * Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress where required * Create positive and inclusive learning environments across the school * Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply * Has excellent classroom management skills * Is adaptable and confident teaching across different primary year groups * Is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences * Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
