A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Reading is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026.
About the Role
- Teach Geography across KS3–KS5 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity about the world
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative Humanities faculty
- Encourage students to develop critical thinking, environmental awareness, and global understanding
- Participate fully in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
