We’re partnering with a rapidly growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Holcombe Brook, Bury, and they’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their expanding team.
This is not your average practice role. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of SME clients across the North West, building strong relationships and becoming a trusted part of their business journey.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Purchase & sales ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Processing monthly payrolls
- Working on Sage and Xero systems
- Supporting clients with day-to-day bookkeeping queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and meeting HMRC deadlines
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Multi-currency accounts
- Multiple entities/departments
- Producing accounts to trial balance stage
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 3 years UK bookkeeping experience
AAT qualified (or equivalent) preferred
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident working both independently and client-facing
Someone proactive, reliable and detail-focused
