Eden Rose
Paraplanner – Up to £45,000
Location: Stockton on Tees
If you’re a paraplanner who loves variety, thrives on technical work, and wants to be genuinely embedded in the advice process, this role will feel like a proper step up.
We’re supporting a forward-thinking wealth management firm that gives paraplanners real influence, real client exposure, and real ownership. This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be hands-on across planning, technical analysis, advice production, and post meeting follow-up working in true partnership with the planners.
What You’ll Be Doing (and why it’s exciting)
This is a full spectrum paraplanning role, covering everything from meeting prep to technical calculations to advice documentation. No two days look the same.
You’ll be involved in:
- Cashflow modelling & meeting prep Updating Voyant, running what-if scenarios, preparing planning insights ahead of client meetings.
- Client meetings & technical support Sitting in with planners, helping answer technical queries, and shaping the advice strategy.
- Advice production & checking Drafting and reviewing suitability reports, PSRs, rebalance reports, supplementary letters, and all supporting documentation.
- Technical calculations CGT, chargeable gains, annual allowance, LSA/allowance work, tax-led calculations — you’ll be the technical engine behind the advice.
- Post meeting workflow Writing up notes, sending follow-up emails, setting up Asana tasks/projects, and ensuring recommendations move smoothly through the advice process.
- Quality assurance & internal technical support Helping maintain consistency across templates, reports, and advice documents, and supporting the wider team with technical queries.
This is a role where you’re genuinely part of the advice journey, not just processing tasks.
What You Bring
- Strong paraplanning experience (or a solid foundation with ambition to grow).
- Excellent technical understanding across pensions, investments, tax and planning.
- Confidence with cashflow modelling tools (Voyant preferred).
- High quality report writing and checking skills.
- A proactive, curious mindset, someone who enjoys solving technical problems.
- Strong communication skills and confidence sitting in client meetings.
What’s On Offer
- Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience.
- Genuine involvement in client meetings and advice strategy.
- A varied, engaging workload with real technical depth.
- Supportive planners who value paraplanners as equal partners.
- Clear progression opportunities (including adviser track if desired).
- A collaborative, modern working environment with strong workflow systems.
