????Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking a day-time AMHP.
The role will last 3 months initially.
Paid at £40 per hour (umbrella).
Re-warranting is available for the right candidate.
The role will involve the following:
- Working as an AMHP with Leicester City's Core AMHP Team,
- Day-time role
- Taking part in a duty AMHP rota as initial point of contact for people making referrals
- Considering MHA requests
- Setting up and carrying out MHA assessments in a variety of settings
- Completing associated reports and paperwork.
- May also be required to write and present tribunal report.
- Full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
- May be working either of the below shifts so ideally need to be flexible based on needs of the service and can work later:
08:30 – 17:00
12:00 – 20:00
- Working arrangements: hybrid and flexible, they have 1 day per week where everyone is in and this changes between Friday and Monday.
- Candidates will do some travelling so need to be a driver.
- Would re-warrant a suitable candidate

Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must be a qualified AMHP
- Must have minimum 1 year experience as an AMHP
