Accounts Payable Assistant
Global Marketing Agency | London Bridge | Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH) | 30k – 33k
We're working on a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading global marketing agency based in London Bridge. This is a brilliant role for someone looking to develop their finance career within a fast-paced, creative, and international environment.
You will become an integral part of a close-knit UK finance team of 7, playing a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger. You will also take ownership of your own supplier portfolio and be a key point of contact within the business.
Responsibilities
- Post all supplier invoices to our accounting system
- Reconciling accounts to supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Chase and resolve all queries
- Produce regular BACS run
- Maintain and post bank transactions
- Weekly Bank Reconciliations in multiple currencies
- Maintain and update nominal ledger
- Maintain supplier records
- Maintenance of the shared accounts inbox
- Build relationships with client teams & Shared financial services
- Adhoc financial administration duties
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar accounts payables or finance assistant role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with MediaOcean suite (MX, DS Media & DS Accounting) is highly desirable, but not essential
- Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
