Teaching Assistant – Cambridge
£93 – £100 per day | Weekly PAYE Pay | Local Primary Schools | Full-Time Opportunities

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools across Cambridge that are seeking dedicated and reliable General Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to begin a career in education, or you have experience working with children in another setting, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure regular work in local schools.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Delivering one-to-one and small group support
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Encouraging a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting children with a range of additional learning needs
We offer a variety of assignments, including flexible day-to-day supply work and longer-term placements to suit your availability.

To be considered for this General Teaching Assistant role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children in any capacity
- A professional, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one
