Our client, a market-leading and rapidly expanding business, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. Having experienced exponential growth through both organic expansion and strategic M&A activity, the business is seeking a technically strong qualified accountant to support the preparation of monthly reporting packs, statutory reporting, and financial controls during an exciting phase of continued growth. Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management and reporting packs for senior leadership.
- Lead month-end and year-end financial accounting activities.
- Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through regular reconciliations and controls.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and support the annual audit process.
- Produce financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain and develop financial procedures and documentation.
Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
- Experience preparing monthly reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
- Good understanding of statutory accounts and audit processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
