In this role your duties will include repairing press tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts, create and commission new jigs and fixtures, assist with new product introduction, implement continuous improvement techniques,

The Role:
- Design, fabricate, and commission new jigs and fixtures to support production processes.
- Responsible for maintaining production tooling, jigs, and fixtures
- Support new product introductions, ensuring equipment and processes meet operational requirements.
- Analyse tooling issues and root causes, developing effective PPM and TPM activities.
- Record all maintenance activities within the CMMS.
- Day shift, 7am to 3pm
- £19.21 – £21.96 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

The person:
- Apprenticeship as Mechanical Fitter, Machinist, or Toolmaker or relevant NVQ Level 3/BTEC Level 3
- Proficiency in CNC lathe, CNC mill, and surface grinding
- Experience in AutoCAD, 3D modelling or inventor would be advantageous
- TIG/JIG welding would be advantageous.
