Salary: From £150 per day (pay to scale for long-term placements)

Make a Difference as an SEN Teacher
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team, supporting pupils with additional learning needs across a range of primary and secondary schools in Blackpool.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
- Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
- Monitor progress and encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and personal growth.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs (desirable).
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- The legal right to work in the UK.

Please note: All quoted pay rates include 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, although there may be opportunities for permanent employment in the future.
