Hiring: Accounts Assistant (Part Time) | Legal 500 Law Firm
£40,000 full time equivalent (16 hours across 2/3 days)

A flexible, part-time opportunity for an Accounts Assistant within a Legal 500 firm, joining a close-knit and highly supportive finance and operations team.

The Role:
- Manage day-to-day cashbook processing across client and office accounts
- Complete bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner
- Post client and office account transactions in line with procedures
- Work within Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) compliance framework
- Support financial administration within a busy private client practice
- Assist with general accounts processes and internal finance queries
- Use systems such as LEAP, Xero, or similar legal/accounting software
About you:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Comfortable working with financial systems and reconciliations
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage workload independently
- Enjoys working in a collaborative office environment
