We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Service Manager to join our award-winning service charge team in Milton Keynes – our TC SEM offices were recently recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 and are the UK’s largest residential service charge specialist practice.
This is a high impact, varied role where you’ll manage a portfolio of key clients, delivering exceptional service while driving growth opportunities.
You’ll oversee and review service charge accounts and factual findings assignments performed alongside guiding your team to deliver at the highest standard, and ensuring clients receive a consistently outstanding experience. You’ll also drive portfolio workflow, practice management, and support strategic client planning.
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll help shape and deliver a strategy that drives sustainable, profitable growth across our national client base.

Key responsibilities will include:
Portfolio Management:
- Build strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service through regular online and in-person engagement
- Identify growth opportunities within existing clients to expand the portfolio and support wider business development
- Own portfolio performance, including billing targets, recoveries, debt management and forecasting
Team development & Leadership:
- Coach and develop Senior and Executive Accountants through on-the-job support
- Identify training needs and drive development plans, escalating where required
- Build your personal brand to promote the team, with an active LinkedIn presence and content creation
- Champion continuous improvement, driving efficiency and service enhancements across the team
- Support adoption and development of our bespoke software ForSite across teams and clients
- Stay up to date with sector developments and share knowledge across the team
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- AAT qualified/part qualified ACCA/ACA or QBE
- Strong accounting background with experience reviewing work
- Practice experience desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working independently and collaboratively
- Highly organised with a methodical approach to workload management
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Service charge accounting knowledge (desirable)
- Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop
