Description
As a Finance Officer, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day purchase ledger activities, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
- Carry out account reconciliations, journal postings, accruals and prepayments to support month-end financial processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records across expenditure, utilities, property costs and other operational finance areas.
- Monitor budgets and expenditure, investigating variances and assisting with financial reporting and forecasting.
- Liaise with suppliers, utility providers and internal departments to resolve queries and ensure accurate financial information.
- Support the continuous improvement of finance processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and efficient financial administration
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £31,000 per annum.
