About the role:
At Engage Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting teaching assistants for over a decade, so we know a bit about finding the ideal school for you. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to work at an ofsted rated good primary school in South Leeds. This is a full time role with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. The role will commence in September and ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2. The school has high expectations for it’s pupils and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a real passion for education and improving attainment.
Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant duties can include:
- Providing general classroom support
- Delivering interventions to boost attainment
- Working with key children on a 1 to 1 basis
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience working in a primary school
- Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
- A minimum of a Level 2 relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
