Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time | September Start | Manchester
Are you an ambitious and dedicated Year 5 Teacher ready to inspire and prepare pupils for upper Key Stage 2?
We are working with a supportive primary school in Manchester seeking an experienced or newly qualified Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to help pupils develop independence, resilience and confidence as they prepare for Year 6.
The Role
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Challenge and support pupils to achieve their full academic potential. Use assessment effectively to identify progress and plan next steps. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners. Foster independence, resilience and excellent learning behaviours. Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. Contribute to the wider life of the school and support extracurricular opportunities where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs welcome to apply). Has strong curriculum knowledge and excellent classroom management. Can inspire, motivate and challenge learners. Is confident using assessment data to inform teaching. Is committed to raising attainment while supporting pupils' wellbeing.
