Part-Time Bookkeeper
Location: Hillington
Salary: £15–£18 per hour (DOE)
Working Pattern: 3 days per week (hybrid – 1 day in office, 2 remote)
We are delighted to have once again partnered with our client, who is a growing e-commerce business. Following a period of expansion and strategic change, they are now looking for a proactive Bookkeeper to support the Finance Controller.

Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) in Xero
- Maintain and update the general ledger
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Update and manage invoices daily
- Assist with payroll processes (timesheets, hours tracking, liaising with external payroll provider)
- Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis
- Support with shipping and payment documentation (including international operations)
- Provide general administrative support as required
About You
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role, typically requiring one day per week in the Hillington office (preferably Mondays for collaboration with the Finance Controller), with the remaining days worked remotely and flexibility around scheduling and working hours (e.g. 8–4 or 9–5).
