Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full-Time | September Start | Greater Manchester
Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference across a primary school?
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic HLTA to support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, leading lessons, and supporting pupils of all abilities.
The Role
You will:
Deliver planned lessons across the primary age range during teacher PPA, meetings and absences. Lead whole-class teaching when required. Deliver high-quality interventions in English, Maths and phonics. Support pupils with SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs. Work collaboratively with teachers to assess pupil progress and adapt learning. Promote positive behaviour and establish excellent classroom routines. Support the wider life of the school through clubs, trips and enrichment activities.
The Ideal Candidate Holds HLTA Status or equivalent qualification. Has previous experience leading whole-class learning. Is confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2. Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Has experience supporting pupils with additional needs. Is flexible, proactive and committed to improving outcomes.
