Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician / Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing Plant

Hours: 40 hours per week (Rotating Shifts) 0600-1400/1200-2000-monday to Friday

representing a leading manufacturer of high-quality packaging solutions, is urgently seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Engineering Technicians / Maintenance Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Support production teams to resolve technical issues quickly and minimize downtime
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks and inspections
- Assist with new equipment installations and site improvements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to prioritise maintenance tasks
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Multi-skilled with a mechanical bias
- City & Guilds qualification or time-served apprenticeship desirable
- Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings is highly desirable
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Basic welding skills beneficial (training available)

- Good computer literacy for maintenance documentation
- Comfortable working at height when required
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- Rotating shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 12:00 – 8:00pm
- Overtime and weekend cover available
- Enhanced overtime rates
