We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Little Sutton from September 2026. 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Reception
Hours: Full-time, term time only
Start Date: September 2026
We are looking for a patient and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child entering Reception with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The successful candidate will:
- Build positive and trusting relationships with the child.
- Support communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs.
- Promote independence and inclusion within the classroom environment.
