Job Specification – FLT Clamp Driver (Night Shift)
Location: Stanwell Moor, Staines-upon-Thames
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced FLT Clamp Driver to join our night shift team. The successful candidate will safely operate a counterbalance forklift with clamp attachments, moving materials efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance FLT with clamp attachments safely.
- Load, unload, transport, and stack materials across the site.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all Health & Safety and company procedures.
- Support the operations team in meeting daily targets.
Requirements
Essential
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Experience operating a clamp truck.
- Previous warehouse, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial experience.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Desirable
- Recycling or waste management experience.
- Flexible to work additional shifts when required.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00 pm – 4:00 am
- 1-hour unpaid break
Pay
- £13.75 per hour.
- Additional £95 (subject to tax) for working a sixth day.
