Overview
Simon Lincoln Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Homes for Students for a Temporary Resident Services Assistant to join the Nottingham team.
This is a customer-focused role, supporting the day-to-day operation of the property and ensuring residents receive an excellent level of service. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors whilst assisting with administrative duties and helping the site team maintain a welcoming and well-managed environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house service to residents and visitors.
- Respond to resident enquiries in person, by telephone and via email.
- Assist with resident arrivals, departures and check-ins.
- Carry out room inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Support the preparation of bedrooms and communal areas.
- Assist with parcel handling and key management.
- Update property management systems and complete general administrative duties.
- Work closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure the property is presented to a high standard.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Homes for Students professionally.
Skills & Experience
- Previous customer service, reception, hospitality or administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional and enthusiastic with a positive, customer-focused approach.
