Actuarial Risk Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000
Location: Leeds or East Sussex (2-3 days in office per week)
I am keen to speak with pricing professionals who are interested in moving into a broader strategic risk role within the health insurance market. This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in pricing who is looking to use their technical expertise to influence business-wide risk decisions.
You'll play a key role in providing independent oversight of pricing and underwriting activity, reviewing product proposals, challenging key business initiatives and helping to ensure robust risk governance across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll contribute to strategic decision-making while supporting the development of underwriting and risk policies.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK health insurance market, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide balanced, commercial challenge. Previous exposure to risk management, governance or second-line oversight would be advantageous, although candidates looking to make their first move into risk are encouraged to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established pricing professional to broaden their experience, gain exposure to senior leadership and play a visible role in shaping the organisation's risk framework and long-term strategy.
