Service Charge Officer
Client Accountant | Southend | £32,000 – £35,000
We're working with a well-established and highly respected property management business seeking a Client Accountant to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with service charge accounting experience who enjoys managing their own portfolio and working closely with property management colleagues in a varied, hands-on role.
Key responsibilities include:
Service charge reconciliations and annual accounts preparation
Budget preparation and ongoing service charge management
Utility and direct recoverable reconciliations
Rent, service charge, insurance and ground rent demands
Arrears management and client reporting
Tenant and landlord account administration
Liaising with landlords, tenants, suppliers and property managers
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience within property management accounts and service charges
Can work independently and manage their own workload effectively
Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Is confident communicating with clients and stakeholders
Has good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Package:
£32,000 – £35,000 salary
Profit share bonus
Office based role (Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm)
22 days holiday plus bank holidays
