A foreign bank is currently recruiting a Structured Finance Analyst to join its Structured Finance team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to develop their career within an international banking environment.
In this role, you will conduct credit analysis and monitor project finance transactions, supporting investment decisions and managing credit risk across a diverse portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have a finance-related degree, project finance experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence and credit analysis on new project finance transactions and prepare investment proposals for the Branch Credit Committee
- Monitor the performance and credit risk of existing project finance transactions
- Review borrower consent requests and prepare recommendations for Branch Management and Tokyo Head Office where required
- Evaluate financial information and identify potential risks associated with lending opportunities
- Provide analysis and reporting to support structured finance activities and investment decisions
- Support the Senior Manager and team with administrative tasks, including record keeping, scheduling and documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Branch to ensure efficient transaction management and compliance with internal procedures
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another relevant financial discipline
- At least 2 years' experience in project finance, either within a front-office team or a credit risk management function is preferred
- Experience gained within a UK, Japanese or other European financial institution is advantageous
- Good understanding of project finance transactions and credit analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Condition:
- Location: Central London
- Working Style: Hybrid work (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
- Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum depending on experience, plus bonus
- Job Type: Permanent
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
- Start: Negotiable
