Junior Account Manager – Water Treatment
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Location: Peterborough
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Junior Account Manager to join a successful and growing water treatment company covering East Anglia, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. This Junior Account Manager role is ideal for someone currently working as a Water Treatment Engineer who is ready to progress into a customer-facing position, or for an existing Junior Account Manager looking for a new challenge.
As a Junior Account Manager, you will support an established customer base, build strong client relationships and provide technical advice across a range of water treatment systems. Working closely with the Area Manager, you'll help manage day-to-day service requirements while ensuring customers receive a high standard of support.
Key Duties
- Manage and develop customer accounts across your region.
- Carry out site visits and use water treatment test kits.
- Provide technical guidance on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems.
- Produce reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Work closely with the Area Manager to deliver excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Experience within the water treatment or water hygiene industry.
- Hands-on experience using site test kits.
- Good understanding of HSG274, BG50 and L8 guidance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, ambitious and team-focused attitude.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 basic salary with OTE of up to £40,000.
