We're recruiting for a Residential Surveyor to join a highly successful and growing chartered surveying practice covering the Newport area. Due to continued business growth, they're looking for an experienced surveying professional to join the business on a consultancy basis, carrying out survey work within a 25-mile radius of your home.
Offering complete flexibility, a market-leading fee split, and full administrative support, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking to maximise their earnings while maintaining a great work-life balance.
The Role
As a Residential Surveyor, you will:
- Carry out RICS Home Surveys (Level 2/HomeBuyer Reports)
- Undertake Mortgage Valuations
- Produce accurate, high-quality survey reports using industry-leading reporting software
- Manage your own diary and workload efficiently
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the surveying process
- Ensure all reports are completed in line with RICS standards and regulatory requirements
- Cover survey work within a 25-mile radius of your home
Residential Surveyor Requirements
- AssocRICS qualified (minimum) or above
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification surveying experience
- VRS registered
- Proven experience carrying out residential valuations and surveys
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Working Arrangement
- Consultancy basis with complete flexibility
- Minimum workload of 10 points per week, spread across a minimum of two working days
- Remote / WFH basis
- Monday – Friday
