Description
- Assist in managing the store's day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience.
- Supervise and motivate the retail team to maintain high performance and morale.
- Help with stock management, including deliveries, replenishment, and visual merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members as required.
- Take ownership of resolving customer queries and complaints effectively.
Profile
A successful Assistant Store Manager should have:
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role.
- A proven ability to meet sales targets and work towards achieving KPIs.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work well with both customers and team members.
- A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
