Description
The Development Solicitor will be:
- Advising major national and regional house builders, landowners and affordable housing providers.
- Managing a broad range of residential development transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts, transfers and option agreements.
- Advising clients on rights of pre emption, collaboration agreements and development agreements.
- Supporting high value residential development and investment projects.
- Building and maintaining strong long term client relationships.
- Assisting senior colleagues on complex and strategically important matters.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and wider team members.
- Delivering commercially focused legal advice to an exceptional client base.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the residential development team.
Profile
The Development Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor with approximately 2 to 6 years PQE.
- Experienced in residential development, commercial property or real estate work.
- Confident managing transactions with appropriate supervision.
- Skilled at drafting and negotiating complex property documentation.
- Commercially aware with strong client relationship management skills.
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
- Keen to develop a long term career within a leading international law firm.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £65,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
