SALESAMP LIMITED
The Company:
Our client is an early-stage AI startup building an automation platform for UK lettings and estate agencies. Their product sits on top of the agency's existing PMS/CRM and runs the day-to-day operational work — prospecting, viewings, maintenance, compliance and arrears — including an AI voice agent that answers the phone when the branch can't. Agencies across the UK are already live in pilots.
The Role:
This is a dedicated outbound role driving SME pipeline. Agencies across the UK are already live in pilots, and your job is to keep the calendar full of qualified SME demos. You'll own the outreach, book qualified demos with UK independent lettings agencies from a founder-built target list handed to you on day one, hand them to the AE to close, and feed what works back into the playbook. You'll report directly to the co-founders to start.
What you'll do:
- Work a founder-built target list of independent agencies — 40–60 quality dials a day, backed by email and LinkedIn follow-up.
- Qualify hard, find the pain (missed calls, unanswered enquiries, no after-hours cover), and confirm fit, budget and intent before anyone's calendar gets booked.
- Book qualified demos of the voice AI straight onto the AE's calendar, with a clean handover brief so they can pick it up cold and close.
- Turn every call into the playbook: scripts, sequences, objection handling, qualification criteria, what books a meeting and what stalls.
Who you are:
- Thrives in a high-volume outbound environment
- Hands-on with AI. You've actually used LLMs or AI agents in your own work — a Custom GPT, a Zapier flow with an LLM step, a prompt-engineered workflow, a side project. If not yet, you'll get there before you start and show it by week two.
- Owner-operator buyer empathy. Ideally one of:
- (a) BDR/SDR/BDM/AE in the last three years at a PropTech business selling into UK lettings/estate agencies (property management software, tenant referencing, prospecting/valuation tools, sales progression or conveyancing tech, or similar);
- (b) vertical SaaS experience prospecting into owner-run small businesses (trades, restaurants, clinics, etc.) with a documented record of booking owner-operator meetings;
- Pipeline-builder, not a closer (yet). You judge your day in qualified meetings booked, not deals signed. You want closing to be your next move and you know the fastest route there is a calendar full of demos the AE can win.
- Commercially numerate. You can read an agency's numbers well enough to qualify on value — in pounds saved per week against their P&L
If you're truly exceptional with a track record that proves it but don't fit any of these, don't be discouraged from applying.
