Internal Account Manager
Location: Doncaster
Salary: up to £31,500

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll manage an established portfolio of customers, becoming their trusted point of contact for day-to-day enquiries through to larger projects, quotations and proposals. Success in this role comes from understanding your customers' needs, identifying opportunities to increase spend and providing a seamless customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Account Manager:

• Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Prepare and manage quotations, pricing and proposals, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved.
• Proactively follow up quotations and identify opportunities to secure additional business.
• Support customers with additional products and services to maximise account value.
• Handle customer queries, invoice disputes and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep customers updated throughout the lifecycle of their projects, including communicating any additional costs where applicable.
• Identify potential issues within customer accounts and work collaboratively to resolve them.
• Regularly engage with customers to understand future requirements and uncover new opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Finance, to support outstanding payments where required.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customer pricing agreements and commercial terms.
• Attend customer meetings when appropriate to strengthen relationships and support business growth.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in an Account Management, Customer Success or Internal Sales role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance customer satisfaction and profitability.
• A proactive approach with a passion for identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Confidence working towards KPIs and performance targets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
